Privacy settings overview
Pals Club gives you granular control over your visibility and data sharing. All privacy settings are located under Settings → Privacy & Safety in the app. Changes take effect immediately.Control who can see your profile
You can choose who sees your profile details, activity status, and friend list. Options range from Everyone to Friends only to Only me.Choose your audience
For each section of your profile — bio, activity status, friend list — select the visibility level that you are comfortable with.
Manage blocking and muting
Blocking a user prevents them from viewing your profile, sending you messages, or interacting with your content. Muting hides their posts and messages from your feed without notifying them.Blocking
- Go to the user’s profile → ⋯ → Block
- Blocked users cannot find you in search
- You can review and unblock users in Settings → Privacy & Safety → Blocked accounts
Muting
- Go to the user’s profile → ⋯ → Mute
- Muted users are not notified
- Manage muted accounts in Settings → Privacy & Safety → Muted accounts
Data you share with Pals Club
Pals Club collects [DESCRIBE_DATA_CATEGORIES — e.g., account information, usage data, device identifiers, and location data when enabled]. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How to download your data
Pals Club lets you request a full export of your data in a machine-readable format.Request your data
Go to Settings → Privacy & Safety → Your data → Download my data and tap Request export.
Wait for processing
Pals Club will prepare your archive. You will receive an in-app notification and an email at [CONTACT_EMAIL] when it is ready — usually within 48 hours.
